The PLL-1 is a very simple device, installation is a done in two parts.
Simply mount the unit under your dash or in any other convenient location with the two mounting tabs on the case. Next wire into +12V with the supplied wiring harness and connect onto the unit. Some users
find the need for a switch on the +12V line to allow normal reception.
Next disconnect the antenna lead from back of stereo and connect it into the PLL1, then connect the PLL1 into the back of the stereo where the antenna connection used to be. Your done!
The audio can be either line level outputs or a headphone output. When using the headphone outputs, make sure the volume is low and you will have crystal clear sound. If your audio device does not have
RCA output jacks but rather a 3.5mm stereo jack (small hole) you can use a small inexpensive 3.5mm to two RCA jack cable to make the transition.
Anyone concerned with cold weather or hot weather operation need not be. This unit will work from -40c to +50c
