Select your question for the Mello MP3 Player from below:
Please find below the following answers.
Well Mello has chosen not to limit what CF cards can be used, its a simple limitation of FAT16. When 2G CF cards become available they will work, right now 512-640M is around the largest CF cards on the
market
Many manufacturers have chosen to limit what capacity they allow thus forcing you to buy their newer players in the future when you want to expand your memory capacity..... not Mello! Just go out and buy
your new CF card and plug it in!
Yes. All your song data is displayed on the bright multiline LCD display.
Running on just two small AA’s the player will last around 16-20 hours while running from CF card. When you are connect via USB the power comes from the PC and no battery power is consumed, so you can
stay connected for as long as you like.
All Windows platforms from WIN98SE/ME/2000/XP are supported as they allow USB mass storage devices.
- How do I connect and download MP3’s?
With the supplies USB cable connect it to a USB port on the PC. The OS will load the appropriate drivers for USB Mass Storage Device and you will see your player become a disk drive on the computer. In
the case of a PC it will mount usually as E:, but any drive letter can be used.
Once your player has mounted itself as a disk drive you can now drag and drop to the new drive, all the data transfer over the USB is transparent and you’d never know it connected externally. When
downloading and ripping new MP3 files you can do it direct the this new drive and there will be no need to copy and move them all later
